Fuel Companies to Impose Mixed Oil Price Adjustments on Tuesday (September 30, 2025)

Mixed Oil Price Adjustments Expected on Tuesday (September 30, 2025)

Several fuel companies are set to implement mixed oil price adjustments starting Tuesday (September 30, 2025).

Filipino consumers will once again see mixed fuel price adjustments this week as oil companies update pump prices beginning this week. Starting at 6 a.m., most major fuel firms will implement the following changes:

  • Gasoline – P0.20 per liter decrease
  • Diesel – P0.90 per liter increase
  • Kerosene – P0.90 per liter increase

Cleanfuel will apply the same adjustments, excluding kerosene, and will begin implementing the changes at 4:01 p.m. instead of early morning.

Mixed Oil Price Adjustments

This week’s movement ends six straight weeks of gasoline price hikes, though the rollback is minimal compared to last week’s P1.00 increase. Diesel and kerosene, meanwhile, continue their upward trend after also climbing P0.80 per liter just last week.

According to the Department of Energy, the adjustments are influenced by global market conditions. Rising geopolitical risks, including U.S. pressure on European countries to halt purchases of Russian crude or face additional tariffs, have driven oil prices higher.

At the same time, Iraq’s resumption of exports through a pipeline to Turkey is helping stabilize supply and prevent even sharper hikes.

Mixed Oil Price Adjustments

Despite the slight rollback for gasoline, pump prices remain burdensome. DOE data as of September 16 show cumulative increases for the year at P13.90 per liter for gasoline, P15.35 for diesel, and P3.55 for kerosene.

Other fuel retailers are expected to announce similar changes in the coming days. For drivers and commuters, the small decrease in gasoline offers some relief, but the steady rise in diesel and kerosene continues to weigh heavily on daily expenses.
