Piolo Pascual talked about working with Kyle Echarri in this movie
A-list actor Piolo Pascual shared his thoughts on being a mentor to actor-singer Kyle Echarri.
Despite their age gap, Piolo and Kyle found friendship with each other. They were seen having their bonding moments with their other friends. Because of their closeness, some naysayers would speculate about the real score between them.
The rumors were ignited by their photos and videos that surfaced online when they were spotted together in Palawan. In August, Kyle broke his silence on his rumored relationship with Piolo.
Kyle Echarri stressed that Piolo Pascual is like a brother to him. He also said that the older actor came into his life when he was handling his grief after losing his sister.
In a recent interview, based on the article in ABS-CBN News, Piolo shared that he is like a mentor to Kyle. “Siyempre bata iyan so gagabayan mo iyan, and you want to be able to show him the ropes of this business,” he said.
Piolo also said that it is his responsibility to guide the younger actor and instill in him to do the right things and remain humble because he can go places.
The older actor shared that he was impressed by the dedication and eagerness that he saw from Kyle when they were filming for the movie The Ride.
“Siyempre sa edad niya lahat bago pa, bago ang role and bago ang kasama. Talagang nakikinig talaga siya at madaling matuto. Kita mo rin na napaka-raw niya at ayon yung maganda doon kapag ang kasama mo on the same page and you know the intention of what you’re doing and you give it hundred percent,” the award-winning actor said.
Piolo also commended Kyle for his professionalism, even though there were difficult times when they were filming. He said that this was the reason why he has so much respect for the younger actor.
Piolo Pascual and Kyle Echarri have already finished filming for this movie even before the series Pamilya Sagrado. The older actor shared that they had been in post-production for this for quite a long time now.
