Opong PH Latest Update From PAGASA, Signal No. 1, 2, and 3 Raised In These Areas

Here’s the latest about Opong PH from the weather state bureau, PAGASA.

OPONG PH – These areas are under Signal No. 1, 2, and 3 due to the severe tropical storm, with international name Bualoi.

As of the latest, Opong PH is moving westward at 15 km/h with maximum sustained winds of 110 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 135 km/h, and a central pressure of 980 hPa. It is maintaining its strength while moving westward over the Philippine Sea. At 4 PM, the location of the center was at 195 km East Northeast of Guiuan, Eastern Samar, or 225 km East of Borongan City, Eastern Samar.

Based on the forecast, Opong will make landfall over Northern Samar or the northern portion of Eastern Samar tomorrow, early morning, September 26. It will then head to the Bicol Region, where it is expected to make another landfall in the vicinity of Sorsogon tomorrow morning.

It may reach typhoon category before making landfall.
