Mika Salamanca spoke about the recent criticism she received

Mika has been in the entertainment industry for several years already. Her presence was more well-known on social media platforms.
After winning the latest celebrity edition of PBB, more opportunities opened for her in mainstream media. She already had a lot of TV appearances and endorsement projects.
With her popularity skyrocketing after her PBB win, controversies also arose. Mika Salamanca recently received bashing because of her photos and videos with Kitty Duterte, which goes to show that they share a certain bond of friendship. This did not sit well with the critics of the former President.
Mika was one of the celebrities who joined the September 21 protest against corruption. She received admiration, but there were people who criticized her for being friends with Kitty and expressed frustration.
Through a post on X, formerly Twitter, Mika addressed this issue. She said that she understood the disappointment that people felt about this, and she apologized for this.
However, she stressed that her stand will always be with the people. She also admitted that in the past, she had made wrong decisions regarding being friends with other people.
“Yes, I admit that I had questionable choices of friends when I was at my lowest, but one thing has always been clear to me, I’ve always made sure to stand my ground even during those times. I spoke about what I believed in, no matter who I was around,” she wrote.
Mika Salamanca added that she would always speak what she believes in, no matter who the people are around her.
