Hollywood star Keanu Reeves has officially put an end to the circulating rumors that he secretly married his longtime girlfriend, Alexandra Grant.
Speculations surfaced online claiming that the couple held a small, private wedding ceremony last week. However, Reeves promptly addressed the matter on Monday, Sept. 22, through his publicist, who clarified to E! News that the stories were unfounded.
“It is not true,” said Reeves’ publicist. “They are not married.”
The denial came after social media buzz suggested the pair had exchanged vows away from the public eye. The actor and Grant, who began dating in 2018, have largely kept their romance private, occasionally sharing glimpses of their bond during public appearances and interviews.
In a 2020 interview with Parade, Reeves reflected on how his relationship with Grant strengthened during the pandemic. “It’s been really wonderful to be with Alexandra,” he said. “We enjoy each other’s company, whatever that may be. Once the beaches opened up, we went for a motorcycle ride, and we have a couple of projects.”
