Alden Richards wore three hats for this film
Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards talked about his directorial debut for the movie Out of Order.
Alden is one of the most successful stars of his generation. Aside from acting, hosting, and being an effective endorser, the Kapuso star also ventured into producing with his Myriad Corporation, the production company he established.
Just recently, Alden added a new feather to his cap. He had his directorial debut in a movie in which he produced and starred.
In a recent interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Alden Richards admitted that wearing three hats in a project was really challenging.
“Actually, this is my first project na I actually wore three hats, it’s not easy, but fulfilling in so many ways,” the Asia’s Multimedia Star shared.
Even though it is fulfilling for him, he still feels that it was physically and mentally challenging. However, he always goes back to the questions “Why are you doing this?” and “Why did you start doing this?”
This became an inspiration for him. One of the reasons why he did was to give back to the industry that has given a lot to him as well. “I want people to see that these are all the things I have learned in my 15 years here in the business,” he said.
The official trailer of Out of Order was released on September 22. In this movie, Alden played the role of a lawyer. He was joined by seasoned actor Nonie Buencamino and actress Heaven Peralejo. Previously, Heaven praised Alden as the director of their movie.
Alden’s movie has already joined several international festivals, such as the Da Nang Asian Film Festival in Vietnam and the Jagran Film Festival in India.
Talking about the theme of the movie, Alden Richards said, “It is a courtroom drama concept. It is about justice, about always seeking the truth at the end of the day because only the truth will matter with all the things that is happening to our lives right now.”
