Netizens exposed the alleged relationship between Joel Villanueva and Angelica Corporal
Senator Joel Villanueva allegedly has a side chick, mistress, or kabit, beauty queen Angelica Corporal.
The lawmaker has been under fire after former Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Brice Hernandez accused him of receiving kickbacks from anomalous flood control projects.
Villanueva denied this. In a recent statement, he even threatened that he would file a case against his accusers. He stressed that these are all accusations and no evidence at all.
Following his statement, posts linking him to Angelica Corporal, the Miss Universe Philippines Bulacan Local Director, circulated across different social media platforms.
A post on Reddit showed that Angelica was able to meet the King of Talk Boy Abunda because the TV host had an interview with Sen. Joel Villanueva in April 2022. Other photos showed that the Senator was present during Angelica’s birthday celebration in March 2024. They were seated beside each other.
Another photo showed that Angelica was posing with her dog, and it was noticeable that a reflection of a man could be seen on the glass window, which was supposed to be the lawmaker. Some photos showed that Villanueva and his alleged side chick were together at certain events.
The Reddit post also included the luxury items that Angelica owns, like bags, watches, and an expensive car.
In the comment section, a netizen pointed out that Angelica Corporal owns a high-end wellness spa, which was a big surprise because she was just a fresh graduate.
Another Reddit post tagged this rumored affair between the senator and the beauty queen as “Bocaue’s open secret.” It is known to the public that Sen. Joel Villanueva is married to Gladys Cruz-Villanueva.
