Heart has found success in the world of fashion. She spent many years as an actress, host, endorser, and recording artist in the past. These stints were big factors in establishing her name in the Philippine entertainment industry as one of the most successful female celebrities of her generation.
In recent years, she has focused on her career as a global fashion influencer. She would go to Europe, the US, and some parts of Asia for her brand collaborations.
Being in the world of fashion, Heart Evangelista‘s lavish lifestyle was a natural scenario. However, this was questioned just recently because her husband is a public servant, Senator Chiz Escudero.
The couple was accused of corruption as the issue of anomalous flood control projects was dug up. Social media personalities and influencers who are children of politicians and contractors attached to the Department of Public Works and Highways received bashing online.
Heart was not exempted. Some attacks were directed at her, especially because of her collection of luxury items.
On September 22, Heart shared a written note, and this was about her life reflection. She said that at times, she would always be on the go, but times of her lower point would come.
She was aware that there were people who were just waiting for her downfall. For her, every dreamy state would come to an end, and she would be awakened.
“The clock has broken down; the beat of my heart has lost its once loud thunder; I have lost the taste of living with color; I have lost the magic of smiling. The tenor of my heartbeat has lost the melody it once sung,” she wrote.
At the end of the day, Heart Evangelista believed that all of these would bring a good thing to her. “I believe I am being refined and realigned for whatever God has in mind,” she said.
