Kapuso actress-host Shuvee Etrata didn’t hold back as she revealed the pricey gift she splurged on for her friend, actress Ashley Ortega.
As a way of expressing her appreciation for their friendship, Kapuso star Shuvee Etrata made one of her biggest purchases for her friend, actress Ashley Ortega. Both of them are former Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition housemates; however, their friendship started way before the program happened.
“Dahil po sa show ko na ‘Hearts on Ice, doon ko first time na meet at nakakasama si Shuvee,” Ashley shared about how and when their friendship started. Their closeness led to another level, as both living independently, they decided to live together. Ashley revealed that it was she who offered for Shuvee to move in with her.
As close friends, they often borrow things from each other. In one instance, Shuvee accidentally damaged a pair of luxury heels she borrowed from Ashley for an event. Feeling bad about it, and now that she’s earning more than before, Shuvee decided to make it up to Ashley with a lavish gift — a gesture of both gratitude and appreciation for their friendship.
She made the big purchase during her trip to Japan, and she shared, “First time ko pumunta ko sa Dior, pumasok ako sa Dior kasi nga may nasira po akong heels ni Ash na Dior so dala-dala ko ‘yun. Sabi ko talaga sa sarili ko, once magka-pera na ‘ko, bibilhan ko si Ashley ng Dior na sapatos.”
According to her, she did not shop for herself during that trip. She recalled how nervous she was upon entering a Dior store. She feared that she might be kicked out of the store, but this did not happen. She was able to afford a pair, and she was happy to make the purchase for her friend.
