A cat went viral on social media after he was caught stealing a live chicken into its owner’s home in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan.
The cat, named Zander, became the star of a viral video after being seen rushing inside the gate of their house with a chicken firmly clutched in its mouth. The chicken was still alive, flapping as Zander dragged it along.
According to his fur dad, Benjohn Padua, the chicken was roaming around their subdivision when Zander decided to grab it. He jokingly added that maybe his cat thought they had run out of food and decided to bring something home for the family.
Despite being caught red-handed, Zander was not scolded. Instead, the chicken was released and spared from the curious pet’s little adventure. The moment quickly became a lighthearted story that brought laughter to many online.
