Aunt of Grade 1 Student Shares Update on Nephew’s Condition After Incident with Classmates

The aunt of a Grade 1 student who was beaten by his classmates shared an update on her nephew’s condition while he remains in the hospital.

Previously, a Grade 1 pupil from San Vicente Elementary School in Sta. Maria, Pangasinan was reportedly hurt inside the classroom after being attacked by three classmates. According to a post shared by his aunt, Judy Mar Bruan, the boy came home crying with a red face.

The following night, he developed a fever and vomited repeatedly, which led his family to rush him to Estrella Hospital for treatment.

The family also raised concerns about the lack of immediate action from the school. They claimed that the parents of the involved students were not called, and the incident was not classified as bullying, something they strongly questioned.

Because of this, the family appealed for proper investigation and intervention to make sure the child’s case would not be ignored.

Recently, Facebook user Judy Mar Bruan posted about the situation of her nephew who was allegedly hurt by his classmates. The post quickly went viral and gathered various reactions online.

In her latest update, the aunt said that school officials have now reached out to the family. On behalf of Principal Rutzky Bacs Yalud and Grade 1 adviser Loree Dgz Mamaril, a meeting was held to discuss the matter.

She explained that the delay in action was due to the principal being on leave, but assured that the issue is now being addressed.

The boy is still undergoing medical care while waiting for the results of his CT scan and X-ray. His family remains hopeful for his recovery and continues to call for accountability and stronger measures to ensure the safety and protection of young students in school.
