AZ Martinez Gets Candid About Her Nose Surgery

This is what AZ Martinez shared about the matter.

Kapuso star AZ Martinez gets candid in an interview about the physical enhancement she underwent when she was just 18 years old.

With celebrities, how they look matters the most. In the nature of their work, celebrities may turn to surgery to stay competitive in the industry. While some do this to get past their struggles with insecurities.

In an interview, AZ Martinez candidly talks about her nose surgery with Karen Davila.

According to her, growing up, her nose has always been her insecurity. Her brother got her mother’s nose, while she got her father’s nose, and it frustrated her. This frustration prompted her to have it enhanced on her 18th birthday.

“Nafru-frustrate ako growing up kasi lagi akong nakatingin sa kanila, magkakambal daw si mommy at si kuya, ako san daw? Na-insecure ako sa nose ko and ayun naisip ko for my 18th birthday, I got it done,” she shared.

Recalling everything, she wished she had given the decision more time and a deeper perspective. She looked at her photos before and thought her nose wasn’t that bad after all. She realized that contouring can actually solve her problem with it, but despite the realization, she is happy.

The former PBB Collab housemate shared that she underwent two operations after the first one got infected.

The young star shared, “Actually, this is my second time kasi ‘yung first ko it got infected, this one I got it done last year again.”

From someone who has made such a huge decision, she advised those who are planning to do the same to think things through. She had regrets, and she also found the surgery expensive. She, however, added, “Pero whatever makes you happy, whatever makes you confident go for it.”

One of her regrets as well was that she failed to love herself more, hence, jumping into impulsive decisions that she thought were really unnecessary.

“One of my regrets also is hindi ko  masyado minahal sarili ko kaya I jumped into impulsive decisions na hindi naman necessary, or hindi naman dapat sana na pwede naman sana gawan pa ng iba pang paraan, na  pag-isipan pa,” she remarked.
