Vice Pres. Sara Duterte Speaks on Trips Abroad To Meet OFWs
SARA DUTERTE – The Vice President confirmed her upcoming visit to Japan ahead of the September hearing of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte before the International Criminal Court (ICC).
Recently, all four (4) Duterte siblings are in The Hague, Netherlands for their father, former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte. The former Chief Executive is faced with an accusation of crimes against humanity over the war on drugs of his administration.

All four (4) Duterte siblings were allowed by the ICC to visit former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte altogether for the first time. According to Vice Pres. Duterte, it was really their father’s request if they could visit him together. She stressed that the former President probably miss to see them all together.
Vice Pres. Sara Duterte revealed that their visit really made former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte. According to her, they talked more about family matters and they were quite loud then as there were instances when three or four of them all speak.

Furthermore, the Vice President also shared that former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte is “really proud” after the Senate archived the impeachment case against her. It came with a 19-4-1 voting after the Supreme Court declared the articles of impeachment against her as “unconstitutional” for not following the one-year rule.

The confirmation of charges against former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte is set on September 23. Based on a report of ABS-CBN News, ahead of the ICC hearing of her father, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte is set to visit Japan. It will be her third visit to the country this year.

According to Vice Pres. Duterte, the Filipino community set their gathering in Japan and it will be held on September 20 and 21. She stressed that it will be a “large gathering” organized by the Duterte supporters who are dedicated to expressing their support to the former Chief Executive.
Previously, ahead of the September ICC hearing against the former President, the camp of former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte renewed their appeal for his ICC interim release to an undisclosed country. His lawyers initially filed their application in June but, later on, asked the court to hold off in deciding as they await some documents and information that will support their request.
