Actress Cristine Reyes talked about the current status of her love life and said that she has moved on from her previous relationship.
Cristine has been garnering the attention of the online community because of her sweet photos with a guy, who was eventually identified as Gio Tingson, a former chairperson of the National Youth Commission and the Sen. Bam Aquino’s campaign strategist.
This happened a couple of months after Cristine’s breakup with Marco Gumabao circulated online. The former couple did not formally talk about their separation.
It was in June when rumors surfaced that Cristine Reyes had found her new love. After that, her sweet photos with Gio Tingson circulated on social media.
In a recent interview, based on the article in ABS-CBN Entertainment, the actress was asked about her love life. She confirmed that she is currently dating a non-showbiz personality. “Nakakatanggal din ng blemish ‘yan and wrinkles. Yes, [I am happy now],” the actress said.
Cristine also opted not to divulge more details about her love life. “Mas private,” the actress said. In the same interview, the actress also mentioned that her and Marco’s breakup was amicable.
“Sa amin na lang iyon, respect na namin sa isa’t isa. But we are super OK,” she said. To recall, netizens noticed that they unfollowed each other on Instagram in April, which prompted breakup rumors. However, a few days later, they followed each other again.
There had been speculations regarding the reason for their breakup. It was alleged that Cristine caught Marco with a girl, not just once, but twice. Allegations also surfaced that their separation had something to do with money issues. However, the former couple has not spoken about these speculations.
