From Friends to Foes: Nueva Vizcaya Drinking Session Turns Deadly
NUEVA VIZCAYA – Authorities in Nueva Vizcaya are investigating a fatal altercation that left one man dead following a drinking session gone wrong.
A night of drinking in Aritao, Nueva Vizcaya, ended in tragedy when a 32-year-old man died after a fight with a close friend turned violent. Police reports stated that the incident occurred in Upper Baan, where the victim and the suspect had been sharing drinks.
Investigators said that an argument broke out between the two men, which quickly escalated. During the heated exchange, the suspect allegedly struck the victim on the head with a punch, causing him to collapse and lose consciousness on the spot.
The victim was immediately brought to a nearby hospital, but doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival. Authorities later confirmed that the impact of the blow was strong enough to cause his sudden death.
Law enforcers arrested the suspect shortly after the incident. He is now facing a homicide charge but has refused to give any statement regarding the case.
