Lady Passenger Warns Fellow Commuters About Safety When Booking Rides

A lady passenger has shared a traumatic experience with a Joyride rider and raised awareness among commuters about safety when booking rides.

Recently, Rocel Soriano, a Facebook user, shared a photo of a Joyride rider who recklessly drives the motorcycle with a fake police ID. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.

Soriano recalled booking a Joyride rider in Bacoor after attending a baptism. At first, things seemed normal, but she soon noticed unusual behavior from the driver. He drove at an unsafe speed and even suggested taking a longer route instead of the direct road, which immediately made her uneasy.

Along the way, the rider overtook recklessly and was flagged down by traffic enforcers. To Soriano’s surprise, the driver presented what he claimed was a police ID. However, he later admitted it was fake and laughed about it, making the situation even more alarming.

The rider also revealed that he had only been driving for three days and mocked pedestrians for crossing the road. He then started talking about his so-called ā€œgood deeds,ā€ claiming he needed to do five good acts a day to justify committing one bad act.

He casually confessed that he had once robbed a female passenger, laughing as if it were nothing.

Despite being scared, Soriano stayed quiet for most of the trip. But when they reached her supposed drop-off point, the rider attempted to take her somewhere else. Alarmed, she firmly told him to stop and insisted on being dropped off at the right location.

Soriano described the incident as traumatic and warned others to be cautious, hoping her story would help prevent the same experience from happening to other passengers. Authorities have yet to release a statement regarding the incident.
