In life, regardless of career or circumstance, finding true friends is never easy. Trust takes time to build, and loyalty is not always guaranteed, especially in a world where change is the only constant. This is especially hard when one is in the show business industry.
For actresses Kim Chiu, Bela Padilla, and Angelica Panganiban, one fun-filled night marked the beginning of a lasting bond. The ABS-CBN stars have since nurtured a rare kind of friendship—one that isn’t always easy to find, yet strong and lowkey enough to pick up right where it left off.
They’ve been in each other’s lives, through the worst and best. And recently, as Padilla signed a contract with their home network, she expressed that she is open to working with her two best friends.
She already has a vision of how fun it would be if this were to happen.
“They’re two of my best friends in the industry and I’ve never worked with either of them but they’ve worked with each other before. So, ako if ever, first time ko sila makakatrabaho,” she added.
Although she has not starred with them in a series or film, she has already worked with Kim as a co-host on the noontime variety show It’s Showtime. She often appears as a guest host, while Kim serves as one of the program’s regular hosts.
Meanwhile, Angelica and Kim have worked together on the 2009 Star Cinema film, I Love You, Goodbye. This is the film where they were nominated for Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress, respectively.
