During the interview, Denise Laurel shared about her childhood and her life belonging to a rich and well-known family. She admitted that she was hurt by comments that she was just able to enter showbiz because of her “connection.”

The actress said that she never used her family name intentionally to be where she is now. She boasted that she worked hard for whatever she has achieved.

Denise was also asked about her pregnancy at a young age and about being a single mom, and the relationship she now has with her son’s biological father. She shared that she was harder on herself than her family back then. The actress also said that she enjoys being a mother and she is proud of her son.

In the same interview, Karen Davila asked Denise Laurel if she felt pressured to enter politics. “I don’t dabble in politics at all,” the actress said, adding that people will not hear anything from her regarding this topic.

Denise said that celebrities or showbiz personalities who did not attend school or did not educate themselves about government and law should not be running.

Then, Karen asked, “Why is that?” The actress said that a person can help the country if he or she is not equipped to do so. “How are they going to help the country if they don’t know even just the basis of the groundwork of what they need?” the actress said.

Denise added that love to help will always be there, but if a person truly loves their country and wants to do something good, then they should educate themselves first. Netizens lauded her because of this.
