Christine Bersola-Babao’s Video Promoting “Team Sarah” Resurfaces

Christine Bersola-Babao featured “Team Sarah” on her YouTube channel

Multi-media personality Christine Bersola-Babao had a video that resurfaced online in which she promoted “Team Sarah.”

Christine, also known as Tintin, was a news presenter and a television host. Currently, she and her husband, journalist Julius Babao, are also YouTubers. Together, they have the Julius and Tintin Babao YouTube channel, aside from their personal channels.

Just recently, Julius’s interview with businesswoman Sarah Discaya became controversial. It was because Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto raised a concern. Allegedly, that interview, as well as the one conducted by Korina Sanchez, had a huge monetary value.

Because of this, netizens criticized Korina and Julius for allegedly transgressing the code of ethics in exchange for money to interview a potential political candidate. Both of them denied that they were paid millions for that feature. They also stressed that it was a “lifestyle” interview format and not an investigative reporting, as Discaya’s company is allegedly involved in “questionable” government projects.

A netizen shared on Reddit a clip from Christine Bersola-Babao’s interview with Team Sarah, who went against the team of Mayor Vico Sotto in the 2025 midterm elections.

In the clip, Christine said that Pasiguenos now had known deeper the candidates who were her guests at that time. She even said “good luck” to one of them. “Team Sarah, ayan. Kaya this!” she said while gesturing the finger heart. “Kaya this” was Sarah Discaya’s campaign slogan.
