Another Aspin in Critical Condition After Falling Victim to Indian Target in Murcia
Another Aspin is in critical condition after falling victim to the so-called “Indian Target” in Murcia, Negros Occidental.
A dog named Maxi became the third recorded case, following earlier victims Tiktok and Bulldog, who were also attacked in the same area.
According to an update shared by the BACH Project, Maxi was found with an Indian arrow lodged in his body. He was immediately rushed to the Barksite Animal Clinic for treatment.
Thankfully, veterinarian Doc Jec Cabuguason happened to be nearby attending a fun run event, which allowed him to respond quickly to the emergency. Because of this, surgery was performed right away, and the arrow was successfully removed from Maxi’s body.
Despite the successful operation, Maxi’s condition remains critical. His fight for survival continues, and the community has been called to extend support in any way they can.
The incident adds to growing concerns among pet lovers and residents in Murcia, who fear for the safety of other animals in the area. With three Aspins already harmed in a short period of time, many are urging for stronger action against the person or people responsible for the cruel attacks.
Animal welfare advocates emphasize the importance of standing together for voiceless creatures like Maxi. The agency reminds the public that every pet deserves love, safety, and compassion, not violence.
