Vic Sotto Testifies In The Pepsi Paloma Movie Lawsuit

Vic Sotto is determined to seek justice in this legal battle

Eat Bulaga host Vic Sotto testified in the Pepsi Paloma movie lawsuit that he filed against director Darryl Yap.

The case was prompted by the controversial movie teaser of The R@pists of Pepsi Paloma. It is known to many showbiz fans that rumors have been circulating regarding the death of the late actress.

It has become an urban legend that Vic, together with Joey de Leon and Richie D’Horsie, had something to do with what happened to Pepsi. They were accused of abusing the late actress.

Direk Darryl Yap intended to release a movie about the life and death of Pepsi Paloma, and he chose a controversial title. The movie teaser that he released was even more controversial.

In the teaser, Pepsi was asked by the late actress Charito Solis if Vic Sotto r@ped her, and the answer was an affirmation. The veteran comedian filed a complaint against this to delete the teaser and prevent the movie’s release.

The court sided with Vic as Direk Darryl was ordered to delete the Pepsi Paloma movie teaser. Vic also filed a cyber libel complaint against the director. In June, Direk Darryl pleaded not guilty.

On August 19, Vic attended the hearing on the case he filed against the director. Based on the article in Pilipino Star Ngayon, the comedian-host has expressed his determination to go on with this legal battle against Direk Darryl.

It was said that some cast members who were included in the movie were asked about this, and they said that in the film, Bossing was not pinpointed as the one who did the supposed crime, and that the teaser was just to catch the viewers’ attention.

However, Vic won’t let this pass because with just the teaser, his wife and children were already affected.

Vic also stressed that until now, there were still people who were posting negative comments about his wife and children. So, he will not let this pass, as his loved ones were affected even though they had nothing to do with the movie promotion.
