Gerald Anderson has another role in his new series
Kapamilya actor Gerald Anderson talked about being the director of his new series, Sins Of The Father.
Gerald has done various roles in his teleseryes and movies in the past. For his new project, he took on a new role being the director.
In a recent interview, based on the article in ABS-CBN, Gerald talked about his directing stint.
He was asked how he was as a director. The actor said that other people in the series should answer this. However, he said that he really prepared for this.
“So, chill siguro. At yung mga artista kasi ng show na ‘to ay mga magagaling lahat. So, hindi naman sila kailangan pagsabihan o i-guide masyado because they’re all great actors, professional,” he said.
He also said that if it were in a different set, it could be harder, but he was blessed with amazing co-stars such as JC de Vera, Joko Diaz, and LA Santos.
On the other hand, the actor admitted that directing his own series is not an easy job. It was a challenge for him to do the fight scenes and direct them also.
After that, he had to preview the scenes, and they would repeat if it was not done as they had planned it to be. This is really a challenging part of this.
“So and I’m trying to finish everything at a fast pace pero maganda pa rin yung kalabasan. So, yun. Marami factors eh,ā Gerald said. He also stressed how much work should be done behind the camera.
He said that viewers would think that they were just doing an easy thing, but it was really so challenging behind the scenes. “Mahirap po yung ginagawa namin. It’s not a easy job para sa lahat na hindi lang sa artista, hindi lang sa director, sa everyone. Ang hirap para sa lahat,” he said.
Gerald Anderson added that they are so grateful every time they get acknowledgment from the viewers.
