Nadia Montenegro received support from Angeli Pangilinan
Talent manager Angeli Pangilinan, the wife of Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano, defended actress and Sen. Robin Padilla’s staff member, Nadia Montenegro.
To recall, reports surfaced that one of Sen. Robin’s staff members was caught smoking “Mary Jane” inside the Senate premises. However, it was explained in a previous report that Nadia was just using a vape and could have been mistaken for “Mary Jane.”
After this, speculations surfaced that the actress resigned from her job in the Senate after the accusation against her. However, she was defended by Sen. Robin’s office and it was stressed that she was just on leave.
Amid this issue, Angeli Pangilinan supported Nadia Montenegro. Based on the article in Abante, through a social media post, Angeli defended Nadia.
“Nadia is a deeply rooted Christian who has been nonstop doing quiet community services and supporting her 8 children, all so wonderfully raised by her,” Angeli said.
She also stressed that Nadia is a member of Artists-in-Touch ministry (a group of artists in the country’s entertainment industry) with other well-known stars like Gary, Ogie, Kata Inocencio, Tirso Cruz III and wife Lynn, Audie Gemora, Anthony and Maricel P, Felichi P. Buizon, Amy Austria-Ventura, Carla Martinez, Carlo Orosa, Tricia Amper-Jimenez, Gina Alajar, Maricris Bermont-Garcia, Malou Fagar, Chit Guerrero, Garlic Garcia, Samantha Chavez-Wue, Sandra Chavez, Donita Rose, Aly Sotto, Gian Sotto, Mandy Ochoa, Kuh Ledesma, etc.
Angeli pointed out that the members of this group love each other like real siblings. They disagree, laugh, cry, rejoice, and admonish each other in private, and they would also pray and support each other’s endeavors. Their bond showed that they are there for each other through good and bad times.
Gary’s wife said that Nadia suffered from cancer that almost cost her life. With this, Angeli stressed that there is no point for Nadia to use illegal substances.
“Nadia has just come out of a battle with cancer and she nearly died. Why on earth would she even engage in substance abuse at the Senate? She is an intelligent, godly and brilliant woman, always silently helping the poor,” Angeli stressed.
The talent manager also said that Nadia has been active in some of their prayer chats, and she can’t see the point in putting her testimony to waste for the allegation against her.
Angeli Pangilinan added that Nadia Montenegro did not ask her to write a post regarding the issue. Gary V’s wife pointed out that she is just a loyal friend who changed her life with the aim to live righteously. “I am praying for justice for Nadia!!!” Angeli said.
