Kris Aquino once asked this to Janice de Belen
An old video of Queen of all Media Kris Aquino allegedly confirming the affair between Gerald Anderson and Janice de Belen resurfaced online.
Kris had one of the most successful morning talk shows in the Philippines. She hosted Kris TV from 2011 to 2016. A clip from the show resurfaced on Reddit.
In that episode of Kris’s morning talk show, her guests were Senator Grace Poe and Janice de Belen. Melai Cantiveros was also part of the show.
The clip started when Kris Aquino was asking the Senator about her son. Sen. Grace shared that his son was working with her in the Senate, and she was hoping that he could have a showbiz career in the future.
With this, Sen. Grace said that her son was learning Tagalog. After that, Kris asked her other guest who was cooking at that time. “Janice, favor naman oh, di ba si Ge (Gerald) may magaling na ano, meron siyang coach dati? That’s why gumaling siya mag-Filipino talaga,” the TV host said.
It can be heard that Janice answered, “Uhmm.” Kris said that Sen. Grace wanted to get the number and asked Janice if she could ask Gerald about this. “Oh, sige,” Janice answered.
The Reddit post about this had this title, “That moment na subtle nadulas si Kris about Janice and Gerald tapos patay malisya lang si Janice. Haha.”
The caption reads, “Ito yung moment na somehow nag-confirm na naging in a relationship si Gerald and Janice. Naloka daw si Janice kay Kris dito. Pero dahil taping patay malisya na lang. Bakit naman pati tutorials ni Gerald eh alam ni Janice? At idadaan pa sa kanya para hingin ang number?”
In the comment section, a netizen recalled another issue involving Gerald Anderson and Maricel Soriano, which was reported by PEP back in 2013. It was alleged that a conflict arose between Gerald and Maricel when the latter fell for the actor, but he was not interested.
To recall, the rumor linking Janice and Gerald has been circulating on social media for a long time now. In 2019, this issue resurfaced because of the actor’s controversial breakup with actress Bea Alonzo.
In 2021, Janice clarified this issue. She categorically denied that she and Gerald had a romantic connection and stressed that they were just friends.
