Duterte’s Youngest Daughter Kitty Duterte Back in The Hague, Netherlands
KITTY DUTERTE – The youngest daughter of former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte confirmed that her father was brought to the hospital.
Former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte is detained under the custody of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, Netherlands for around five (5) months now. The former Chief Executive is faced with an allegation of crimes against humanity over his administration’s drug war.
The confirmation of charges against the 80-year-old former President is set on September 23. Recently, his common-law wife, Honeylet Avanceña, claimed that she’s barred from visiting former Pres. Duterte inside the ICC detention facility over an alleged phone conversation about legal matters.
Recently, it was Kitty Duterte, the daughter of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte and Honeylet Avanceña, who arrived in The Hague to visit her father. In an interview with Alvin & Tourism, the former President’s youngest daughter claimed that her father is healthier than she expected.
When asked about the rumors that former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte was rushed to the hospital, Kitty Duterte confirmed that her father was indeed brought to the hospital but it was a for his routine check-up considering his age and his health.
“Yes, but he is okay. It’s just, ah, you know, he’s routine check-up because as well all know he is old and not exactly in the best shape but he’s okay. Actually I expected him to be more frail but he’s not,” Kitty said.
Furthermore, Kitty Duterte also claimed that former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte is doing even better compared to the first few weeks that he was inside the ICC detention center in The Hague. She stressed that he sounded more lively and more sharp now.
According to Kitty Duterte, former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte sends his warm regards to everyone and to the supporters for their unwavering love and support. To the family, the former Chief Executive sends his pure love.
Based on the post, when asked about the first question of the former President, Kitty said her father commented that she is bigger now. She clarified that he may be referring to her height not because she’s grown tall but because of her footwear while he’s wearing flats.
Previously, British-Israeli lawyer Nicholas Kaufman, the lawyer of former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte, claimed that his client wants Harry Roque to stop interfering in his ICC case. Kaufman also claimed that Duterte advises Roque to return to the Philippines.
