Ryan and his wife, drama queen Judy Ann Santos, have been open about their family. Even before Ryan married Juday, the actress had already adopted Yohan.
When they got married, Ryan adopted Yohan as well. Their adopted daughter is now 20 years old.

Sharing his thoughts on this, Ogie said that he no longer kisses his daughters on the lips because, for him, it’s already awkward. However, he stressed that the public does not know the dynamics between Ryan and Yohan, and how they are at home.

“Wag na nating bigyan ng malisya kasi hindi lang siguro sanay ang mga tao na nakakakita ng ganu’n kasi nga grown up na ‘yung bata ay humahalik pa sa lips ng magulang kasi nga ‘yung iba hindi sweet, ‘yung iba hindi kayang gawin kasi ‘yun at hindi nila nakagisnan kaya sila naninibago,” Ogie said.
It was because there had been netizens who expressed that this was already inappropriate since Yohan is already a young woman. However, there were netizens who defended Ryan Agoncillo, as they believe that other people are just putting malice on this.
