Doctor Expresses Frustration Over Leaking Condo Unit Worth Over P3 Million

A frustrated doctor has called out a real estate developer over leaking condo unit worth over P3 million.

Recently, Dr. Dex Macalintal, a Facebook user, shared his frustration towards a real estate developer after facing multiple problems in the condo unit she bought for over P3 million. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.

The unit, just around 24 square meters, was supposed to be a “prime property.” But less than a year after moving in, the problems started showing up, literally dripping from the ceiling.

According to his post, he came home one day to find her place filled with leaks. He was thankful to still have a home, knowing others have it worse, but he couldn’t help but feel disappointed. After all, he paid a huge amount for a unit that now required constant mopping whenever it rained.

The problems didn’t stop there. The tiles started creaking and moving, and the glass enclosure in the bathroom suddenly shattered without warning. The property management even advised him not to touch it for safety reasons.

The doctor pointed out that the materials used in the unit seemed to be of poor quality, far from what was promised. He said the developer was excellent when it came to selling, but slow to respond when problems started to show.

Macalintal expected better service from a company claiming to offer “prime living.” He also clarified that he has other properties in Batangas, but his job requires him to be in Manila a few days a week.

The condo was meant to be a practical and strategic midway home, not a source of stress.
