Elisse Joson and Mccoy de Leon reveal the status of their relationship
Celebrities Elisse Joson and Mccoy de Leon confirmed their breakup through this joint statement on Facebook.
Elisse and Mccoy were among the young celebrity couples whose relationship went through a lot. The bond between them started to form when they became Pinoy Big Brother housemates.
This continued even after their stint in the Kapamilya reality show. Eventually, their love blossomed and they were blessed with a beautiful daughter named Felize.
However, issues occurred between them. Back in January 2023, rumors had already surfaced that they had broken up, but a month later, McCoy de Leon confirmed that he and Elisse Joson had reconciled.
From that, the couple has been sharing their sweet bondings together with their daughter. Elisse even had a heartfelt appreciation post for Mccoy last year.
Unfortunately, that sweetness has ended. On her Facebook page, Elisse shared her joint statement with Mccoy confirming their breakup. The ex-couple said that they really tried their best to hold on for as long as they could.
However, they are now learning to let go. “And letting go doesn’t mean we failed. Because what we had was real. And it gave us the greatest gift.. Our Felize,” they said.
Mccoy and Elisse would always value what their daughter said when the young girl would wrap her arms around her parents. Felize would say, “My family belongs to me.” The ex-couple said that this is right, as they would always be Felize’s mother and father, and her family.
Mccoy and Elisse also stressed that there is no need for speculations and assumptions regarding what happened between them, as this is not easy for them.
The ex-couple asked for kindness and respect as to how their story would be remembered, which will shape their daughter’s views about love, family, and letting go.
