McCoy de Leon and Elisse Joson are starting over again
Actor McCoy de Leon confirmed that he and actress Elisse Joson reconciled a month after he confirmed that they broke up.
Late last year, rumors surfaced that the celebrity couple is having a relationship problem. It was early this year when McCoy, through a social media post, confirmed that he and Elisse separated.
Several rumored reasons for the breakup surfaced. It was alleged that McCoy had an affair with showbiz aspirant Mary Joy Santiago, who amid the issue, signed a contract with Viva Artist Center. There were also rumors saying that the breakup has something to do with their finances.
In an interview, based on the article in PEP, Elisse said that the reason for the breakup was “online miscommunication.” The actress has been trying to be silent amid this issue. It was previously reported that sources revealed that McCoy has been accompanying Elisse in her tapings.
They were spotted together last month and this garnered speculations that they got back together. On February 5, during McCoy de Leon’s guesting on ASAP Natin ‘To, the actor confirmed his reconciliation with Elisse Joson.
“Yes. Yes,” the actor confirmed when asked about “balikan.” When reporter MJ Marfori asked him if he is proud to have saved the relationship, he said, “Siguro naman, sa pagiging tatay na parang yun naman laging hinahangad para mapasaya yung pamilya.”
When the reporter asked about the reason for their breakup that Elisse mentioned, McCoy had a careful answer. “Siguro hindi ko ma-specific na… Basta yun ang maibibigay ko…Kumbaga, masaya kami kung ano yung estado ko sa buhay,” the actor said.
