List of areas under a state of calamity due to Typhoon Emong and others.
The floods and rains caused by the southwest monsoon, cyclones Crising and Dante, and Typhoon Emong prompted several areas to be placed under a state of calamity.
Based on an update from PAGASA, several areas were placed under Signal Nos. 1, 2, 3, and 4 due to Emong, which has already intensified into a Typhoon category. In the past days, most parts of the country were drenched and submerged due to rains that caused floods from cyclones, the southwest monsoon, and now, a typhoon.

Due to the floods and rains, this has prompted the local government units (LGUs) to declare a state of calamity, allowing cities and municipalities to access calamity funds. This would give them a chance to quickly respond to the needs of the affected people. This also imposes a price freeze on basic commodities.
