Maris Racal Admits Crying To Her Handler If She Has No Projects

Maris Racal was worried about her financial status

Kapamilya actress Maris Racal admitted that she used to cry to her handler because she had no projects.

Maris is one of ABS-CBN’s homegrown talents. Her career in the Philippine entertainment industry started through the Kapamilya reality show Pinoy Big Brother. From that, she was given a chance to be part of different Kapamilya shows.

However, her journey to where she is now was not easy. She was just 16 years old when she became part of showbiz. After 11 years, she has established her name as one of the famous stars of her generation.

In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, Maris Racal shared that her life then in Tagum City was very different from what she is living now.

She learned that she needed to present herself pleasantly, especially during interviews, and that she had to know how to answer correctly without unnecessary shyness. “Mayroon din palang answers na hindi maganda pakinggan. Ang haba ng naging process hanggang sa na-master ko na kung sino ako,” she said.

In the interview, she also revealed that she would cry to her handler every time there was no offer for a project. It was because she was worried about her bills. That was the reason why she really did her best every time she was offered to do an episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya or Ipaglaban Mo.

She wanted the production to have a good impression of her, that was why she really worked hard.

Maris also shared that despite the struggles and controversies that she went through, she never thought of quitting and returning to her home province. “Mayroon kasi talagang timing. Para sa akin, ‘yong mga role na nasubukan ko, reason pala ‘yon. ‘Yon ang reason na naging ganito ako ngayon,” the actress said.

Maris Racal added that this was the reason for her growth and she enhanced her acting skills. It was a form of training for her. This was the reason why she really believes in having patience and perseverance.
