Oil Price Increases to Take Effect on Tuesday (July 15, 2025)
FUEL PRICE UPDATE – Several gas stations across the country are set to raise fuel prices starting Tuesday (July 15, 2025).
Drivers are advised to brace for looming fuel prices this week. The new round of price increases was announced following two weeks of price rollback.
Gasoline prices will go up by P0.70 per liter, while diesel will see a bigger increase of P1.40 per liter. Kerosene will also go up by P0.80 per liter. These changes will take effect at 6:00 a.m. across most stations, although Cleanfuel will adjust its prices at 4:01 p.m.

The latest price adjustment reflects changes in the global oil market. Supply concerns caused by lower U.S. oil production and disruptions in the Red Sea have added pressure on international prices.
These factors, along with increasing demand, have pushed costs higher for local fuel retailers.
Just last week, motorists enjoyed slight rollbacks of P0.70 off gasoline, P0.10 off diesel, and P0.80 off kerosene. Unfortunately, the new hike cancels most of those savings, especially for gasoline and kerosene users.

So far this year, prices have steadily climbed. The total increase now stands at around P9 per liter for gasoline, P11.35 for diesel, and P1.85 for kerosene.
In Metro Manila, average pump prices last week were P55.25 for gasoline, P53.20 for diesel, and P72.00 for kerosene. However, prices still vary depending on the brand and location.
Motorists are now reminded to plan their refueling wisely and keep an eye on weekly advisories. With fuel costs rising again, a little planning can go a long way in managing daily expenses.
