Rhian Ramos and JC Santos had their first project together
Actress Rhian Ramos and actor JC Santos talked about working with each other in the movie Meg and Ryan.
It is Rhian and JC’s first project together. This was first offered to them in 2023, and they immediately said “yes” to this. It is directed by Catherine Camarillo, who led the movies “Chances You and I” and “That Kind of Love” in 2024.
In a recent interview, based on the article in The Philippine Star Rhian and JC talked about their first project together. The actress said that she likes her character Meg Zamonte right away.
Meg has been struggling with her drinking problem since she was 18. Rhian said that her character is very relatable because a lot of people now are struggling to find themselves, and everyone is aware of their mental health.
“She is focusing on finding herself, but she has also found someone who can love her for who she is. She also discovered what is lovable about her,” Rhian Ramos said about her character.
Rhian also highlighted that everyone on the set worked hard to make the scenes visually stunning. JC Santos said that his leading lady’s role is the most difficult character because she was undergoing a different and complex stage. “I believe that the longer you prepared, the better it became,” the actor shared.
JC also said that he was thankful that Rhian accepted this project. He really enjoyed working with the actress, and it was effortless. The actor also said Rhian gave her soul in this film.
“I am not an A-list actor. I’m one of those who’s too mainstream for indie and too indie for mainstream. Sometimes, I think what my leading lady would think when she’s with me,” he shared.
He’s happy with this project and he said that Rhian has been in the industry for many years now and she already knows her medium. As her leading man, JC made sure to take care of her, support her, and make her look good. For him, this is his responsibility.
Rhian Ramos said that JC Santos is a humble guy and it is rare. She was excited to work with a talented actor like him. “You can really see it in all the films and stage plays that he does. He puts his heart and soul in every project,” the actress said.
Rhian added that she is blessed to be in a project with JC. She also said that the actor would really go the extra mile for his role.
