Recently, the TikTok account timmyandjessy shared a heartfelt wedding vow from a bride who described herself as a strong and independent woman. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the video, the bride, Jes Santos, shared her touching message for her husband, Tim. She opened up about her past struggles and how life’s challenges had left her feeling lost and emotionally distant.
“When I met him, I wasn’t the strong, whole version of myself. He met the lost and numb version of me. But instead of fixing me, he held space for me. He made it safe for me to feel weak,” Jes shared.
But everything changed when she met the man who would later become her husband. Instead of trying to fix her, Jes said Tim allowed her to be herself even at her lowest. She didn’t need to pretend to be strong all the time.
With him, she felt safe enough to show her true feelings, even her weaknesses. It was love that brought healing and comfort.
Jes also shared a sweet sign she noticed before they officially became a couple. One day, she came across the letters “JHS,” which later became her married initials. For her, it was a small but meaningful reminder that some things are simply meant to be.
