Actress Maris Racal admitted that she had regrets from her past relationships, which made her want to stay single for now.
Regrets occur when a person reflects on their past decision and realizes that they could have done something differently, based on what they know now. This is just a natural emotional response that is tied to learning, growth, and the desire for purpose.
Some of the things that often cause regrets include missed opportunities, wrong decisions, unmet expectations, growth, maturity, loss, and irreversibility. As for actress Maris Racal, she had her share of regrets from her past relationships. She admitted this without any hesitation when asked during an interview.
She did not specify what these regrets are all about, but she is sure that all these regrets brought her nothing but motivation to go on and not to commit the same mistakes again.
Racal shared, “They may be painful, but nilalagay ko na siya sa moral compass ko. So that whenever I go, I know what to do.”
For now, she is single and doesn’t have any plans to be in a relationship again. She is still enjoying this time of her life, and though her doors are shut for now, this doesn’t mean that she is not hopeful anymore of finding the one.
“I feel like I need to give myself some space to grow and to really process everything. I don’t know, but that’s what I’m saying now, but I don’t know about tomorrow,” the actress added.
Maris was previously in a relationship with Rico Blanco, but years after being together, they split. They were surrounded by issues, but the actress was hounded with more issues when, months following their split, she got involved in the breakup of Anthony Jennings and his non-showbiz girlfriend.
