Mommy Min Bernardo shared this story about Lolit Solis
The late showbiz writer-talent manager Lolit Solis almost became the manager of Asia’s Superstar Kathryn Bernardo.
Kathryn is one of the biggest stars of her generation in the Philippine entertainment industry. She started her career at a young age and from being a child star, she became one of the sought-after leading ladies.
The actress had a short stint in the Kapuso network when she was young but with the entirety of her career, she was handled by the Kapamilya network.
Following the death of Lolit Solis, Abante entertainment writer Ogie Rodriguez recalled the time when Kathryn Bernardo’s mom, Luzviminda Bernardo, popularly known as Mommy Min, shared that Lolit almost became her daughter’s manager.
Back then, Mommy Min admitted that she knew no one in the entertainment industry when Kathryn was just starting in the entertainment industry. She wanted Lolit to be the manager of her daughter.
Mommy Min thought that she felt that Lolit could help Kathryn gain popularity at that time. Back then, the showbiz writer-talent manager was handling the careers of many prominent showbiz personalities.
With this, Mommy Min also wanted Kathryn to be part of Lolit’s roster of talents. The actress’s mom shared that with the intention of asking Lolit to be Kathryn’s manager, she would wait for the talent manager at the salon of Bambi Fuentes in Timog Avenue, Quezon City.
However, Mommy Min was not able to have the chance to meet Lolit Solis. The late talent manager shared in the past that she had “panghihinayang” that Kathryn Bernardo did not become her talent, but she accepted that it was not meant to be.
Even though this did not happen, Mommy Min and Kathryn Bernardo had high respect for Lolit Solis, Ogie Rodriguez said.
