Vice Pres. Sara Duterte Not in Favor of Selling Dad Rodrigo’s House in Davao
SARA DUTERTE – The Vice President is not in favor of the selling of the house of former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte and Honeylet Avanceña in Davao.
It’s more than 100 days now that former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte is detained under the ICC (International Criminal Court). It was last March 11 when Duterte was arrested by the Philippine authorities and he was flown to The Hague, Netherlands for the transfer of his custody.

Duterte is faced with allegation of crimes against humanity over his administration’s war on drugs. Pres. Bongbong Marcos and Malacañang stressed that the government only acted on the arrest of the former President in line with its commitment to the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol).
Malacañang defended Pres. Bongbong Marcos from “betrayal” accusations. The confirmation of charges against Duterte is set on September 23. Currently, the former President’s camp is seeking his ICC interim release.

Recently, countless people were surprised when a photo of former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte’s house in Davao with a “for sale” sign crossed the social media. The former President’s common-law wife, Honeylet Avanceña, confirmed the selling of their residential property.

Based on a report on PhilStar, Honeylet Avanceña claimed that they have “abandoned” their house in Davao since the arrest of former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte. The residential property is located at Doña Luisa Village Phase 1.
Avanceña further said in an interview with dzRH that she’s the only one who visits their house since the unexpected turn of events. According to her, security in the house is also a concern and the lawyers advised the installation of the CCTVs even inside the bedroom.
“It pains me every time I go there. I’m the only one who visits there now. There are four househelp but with no master. We abandoned it after what happened. I cannot sleep there anymore because the lawyers asked us to install CCTV – even inside the bedroom,” she said.
However, the people were left in doubt after the “for sale” sign was removed. It is unclear is someone has already purchased the residential property of the former President and his common-law wife. She did not reveal the asking price.
Based on the report, it was Davao Mayor Baste Duterte who had the “for sale” sign removed. Vice Pres. Sara Duterte is reportedly against the selling of the house of her father, former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte, in Davao.

Instead, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte wants the house to be opened to the public. Meanwhile, based on the report, she acknowledged that she has no stake in the residential property as it belongs to her father, former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte, and Honeylet Avanceña.
“For people to see where the former president lived, where he slept or ate,” the Vice President said.
Previously, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte also spoke on the ICC interim release bid of her father.
What the heck! Was that a museum? Insane idea from a totally insane woman… So much Non-sense!
