Lara Quigaman Shares Life As Preschool Teacher In Canada

Here’s the life now of Lara Quigaman as an immigrant worker in Canada.

Former actress-beauty queen Lara Quigaman is now a teacher in Canada, and this is her life now as an immigrant worker.

Early this year, celebrity couple Lara Quigaman and Marco Alcaraz officially moved to Canada. This was at the same time when they also marked their 14th wedding anniversary. This is certainly a big move for them and their three boys, as this also means leaving their showbiz career.

They quietly stepped away from the limelight to embrace a simpler and more grounded life in Canada. The Miss International 2005 winner shared, “Leaving behind our careers and the life we knew in the Philippines was not easy, but we chose to follow a dream that had been in our hearts long before our boys were born.”

In June, the beauty queen added another feather to her cap after finishing an academic milestone in Vancouver, Canada. She received a diploma in Early Childhood Education. The journey had not been easy, but what made them go on was the dream they had long planted even before they had their sons.

Quigaman is now working as a preschool teacher in Canada. She is based in British Columbia. While it is not easy, she embraced her new work fully. According to her, she handles four classes, and after that, out-of-school care. She is doing classes in different age groups, which she also enjoys. She is fond of talking to children of different ages.

This is her dream life, and according to her, she and her husband have already talked about building a life in Canada way before. They got married there, and her mother is also based there.

There were challenges in being a preschool teacher, and she is most thankful to her husband for being supportive of her dream.
