Gerald Anderson and Julia Barretto surpassed another breakup rumor
Kapamilya actor Gerald Anderson expressed his affection for his girlfriend, actress Julia Barretto, on the longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga.
Gerald and Julia’s relationship became a trending topic these past few weeks because allegations surfaced that they are no longer together. The breakup rumors surfaced because netizens noticed that Julia deleted some of her photos with Gerald.
However, the actor stressed in an interview that he and Julia are still together and there is no truth to the breakup rumors. In the same interview, Gerald said that he never cheated and he is not a womanizer.
Speculations surfaced that the celebrity couple had an “awayan” and that they reconciled.
Gerald Anderson guested on Eat Bulaga’s recent episode, in which Julia Barretto has been a guest host since May. The actor joined the hosts for the “Sugod Bahay, Mga Kapatid” segment, based on the article in Inquirer.
It was Gerald’s surprise appearance that delighted the show’s viewers. He was with Eat Bulaga Dabarkads Paolo Ballesteros and Wally Bayola in Taguig City.
During the segment, Gerald gave focus and expressed his admiration to Julia Barretto. “Pwede po bang i-close up nang konti?” the actor said to the cameraman at the studio as it panned to Julia.
Then, Gerald said, “Parang maganda po ‘yan ah.” After that, the actor quipped, “Hi, Ms. Julia. Pwede ba kitang dalawin d’yan minsan?” Julia answered, “Kailangan mo munang magpaalam sa aking mga pamilya dito.” This made their fans feel “kilig.”
Gerald Anderson guested on the show to promote his upcoming Kapamilya series Sins of the Father. The series also features John Arcilla, Shaina Magdayao, JC de Vera, RK Bagatsing, Francine Diaz, and Seth Fedelin. It is set to premiere on June 23.
