Kylie Padilla had to leave the remake of Encantadia because of this
Kapuso actress Kylie Padilla talked about what she felt after leaving Encantadia in 2017 when she got pregnant.
Kylie is one of the Kapuso homegrown talents who was given a chance to portray an iconic role. Encantadia was first released in 2005. It became a big hit at that time and boosted the careers of the cast members.
Then, a remake was done in 2016. This featured Kylie, Glaiza de Castro, Sanya Lopez, and Gabbi Garcia as the Sang’gres. However, Kylie was not able to finish the series.

Her character, Amihan, was terminated from the series because she got pregnant with her estranged husband, actor Aljur Abrenica. Many fans of the series and Kylie’s supporters were saddened by this.
Because of this, for the series spin-off, Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre, Kylie Padilla’s character was no longer continued. In a recent interview, the actress shared what she felt about this.
“Sobrang pinaghirapan ko para lang magustuhan ‘yung Amihan ko, ‘yung version ni Amihan. And then at the height, I got pregnant,” she said. The actress also said it was unexpected, and she had no idea how to handle the situation.
Kylie revealed that the creatives and writers were challenged to adjust the story because of this unexpected situation. “How to adjust the story, sobrang malaking, not just regret. Feeling ko kailangan ko pa bumawi. Sana ‘yun ‘yung expectation ko dito,” the actress said.

She also said that it is her dream that the Sang’gres will be complete with Amihan. For her, it is her “pambawi” to her sisters in the series. “It’s really painful to see them not complete, just because of me,” she said.
When asked what the three other Sang’gres felt when she got pregnant, Kylie Padilla said that they had never talked about it yet, but they congratulated her. However, she had no idea what their co-stars felt about this.
On the other hand, Kylie said that at that time she had fear that they might feel disappointed.
