Rendon Labador Becomes ‘Pambansang Coach’ of the Philippine Police
RENDON LABADOR – Fitness coach and motivational speaker Rendon Labador has officially taken on the role of fitness coach for the Philippine National Police.
Rendon Labador has taken on a new and impactful role as he was invited to help improve the physical fitness and overall health of the Philippine National Police (PNP).
In a video shared on his Facebook page, Rendon was seen at the PNP headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City, where he engaged with officers and addressed the media. Embracing his new role with enthusiasm, he declared, “Tawagin n’yo akong ‘Ang Pambansang Coach ng Kapulisan.'”

The video also featured a moment with Police Brigadier General Marvin Joe C. Saro, who approached Rendon to ask a common question among officers—how they could reduce belly fat.
Rendon explained that many officers currently follow individual routines. “Ang ginagawa daw kasi nila, kaniya-kaniya. So meron silang time, meron silang ginagawang programa, na meron silang kaniya-kaniyang pipiliin na exercise kung ano ‘yung gusto nila.”
However, PBGEN Saro admitted that the current physical activities like basketball and zumba have not been effective. Without a unified system, motivation tends to fade and participation becomes inconsistent.
To address this, Rendon proposed a more structured and collective approach. “Gagawin natin ngayon, sabay-sabay, pare-pareho, at babantayan natin ‘yung resulta.”

On the topic of belly fat, Rendon emphasized the importance of proper nutrition. He recommended a reduction in rice consumption, a staple in Filipino diets. “Kasi kahit anong work-out natin, siyempre, kung hindi mo sasabayan ng tamang nutrition, baliwala din ‘yung gagawin natin. So ang unang suggestion ko sa lahat ng mga pulis, magbawas po kayo ng kanin,” he advised.
With his direct yet motivational style, Rendon Labador is set to play a crucial role in boosting the fitness culture within the PNP, promoting discipline, consistency, and healthier habits among the country’s law enforcers.
