Vice Pres. Sara Duterte Doubts Results of 2025 Senatorial Race
SARA DUTERTE – The Vice President believes that Jayvee Hinlo Jr., Jimmy Bondoc, and Richard Mata won the 2025 Elections.
At the height of the campaign period for the 2025 Elections, Vice Pres. Duterte fervently campaigned not only for Senator Imee Marcos and outgoing Las Piñas District Representative Camille Villar but as well as the PDP-Laban candidates. According to her, former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte really asked her to campaign for the #Duter10.

Former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte is the chairman of the PDP-Laban. The Duterte siblings campaigned fervently for his PDP-Laban bets in the 2025 Senatorial Elections. The #Duter10 are the following:
- Sen. Christopher “Bong” Go
- Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa
- Congressman Rodante Marcoleta
- singer Jimmy Bondoc
- Jayvee Hinlo
- Raul Lambino
- actor Philip Salvador
- Atty. Victor Rodriguez
- Pastor Apollo Quiboloy
- Doc Marites Mata

Former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte’s common-law partner, Honeylet Avanceña, also previously said that the former President wanted to tell the Filipino people to just forget him if they will forget his PDP-Laban bets. Even his youngest daughter, Kitty Duterte, climbed the stage to campaign for her father’s bets amid his detention in The Hague.
However, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte was disappointed by the results of the 2025 Senatorial Elections. The Vice President called on the Filipinos to join in the building of a stronger opposition. Five (5) senatorial bets of Duterte made it to the Top 12.
- Sen. Imee Marcos
- Las Piñas district Rep. Camille Villar
- Sen. Christopher “Bong” Go
- Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa
- Congressman Rodante Marcoleta
Recently, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte expressed her belief that three (3) more candidates of the PDP-Laban should have won the 2025 Elections. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the Vice President referred to Jayvee Hinlo Jr., Jimmy Bondoc, and Richard Mata.
“Kasi po para sa akin at alam kong totoo, nanalo po sila sa eleksyon noong nakaraan. Kausap ko po IT experts na nagsasabi hindi talaga pwede na totoo yung mga numero na lumabas,” she said.

Vice Pres. Sara Duterte, at the Independence Day celebration, claimed she first knew she was winning the 2022 vice presidential race when she won in the absentee and OFW voting. Based on the report, she stressed that the PDP-Laban bets won in the same.
“Ganun po ang nangyari sa kanila. Panalo po sila sa OFW vote, sa absentee voting. Lahat ng makadaupang kamay ko, lahat ng mayakap ko, lahat ng mahalikan ko sinasabi ko, dalhin niyo ang kodigo, vote straight tayo, 10 ang ating senators. Kaya po naniniwala talaga ako, sila ay ating mga senators,” Duterte said.
Currently, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte is faced with a looming impeachment trial. However, the recent move of the Senate to return the articles of impeachment against Duterte to the House of Representatives elicited different reactions.
