Veteran journalist Korina Sanchez shared in a recent interview that this is the biggest fake news about her.
Korina has been in the industry of news and current affairs for four decades already. From being a field reporter, a news anchor, and a journalist with special assignments, until having her own magazine show.
With her celebrity status, even though she is not directly in showbiz, Korina had her fair share of controversies. She is not also immune to rumors and fake news. Previously, the veteran journalist admitted that it is hard to fight fake news.
She pointed out that it is better to get news from reliable sources. from television where there is accountability, and when it comes to online, go for reliable news sites.
Based on the article in Pilipino Star Ngayon, Korina Sanchez was asked about the biggest fake news about her. She shared, “Ahhhh! Parang may anak daw ako kay Ping Lacson?! Ano ba?!”
“Hindi ba, may ganoon? May ganoon ako dati, ha? Dati. Pero iyon ang naaalala ko na, ‘Ano?!’ Hindi ba?” Korina added.
Meanwhile, when asked if it was also fake news that she and former President Noynoy Aquino became a couple. Korina shared that it was true that she and PNoy really became a couple but it was a short-lived relationship.
“Naging boyfriend ko talaga si PNoy. Baka iyan ang headline mo, magalit sa akin ang asawa ko!” she quipped. They had been together for 8 months only, the shortest relationship she ever had. Korina Sanchez said that she had long-term relationships in the past for five or eight years.
The veteran journalist was also asked if she intends to enter politics. She said that the political arena now is so chaotic and she is afraid to be in it because if she is not resolute enough, she might be dragged left or right.
