Kapamilya actor Gerald Anderson admitted that he must make up for his shortcomings to his girlfriend actress Julia Barretto.
Gerald and Julia’s relationship was confirmed in 2021. The celebrity couple opted to be a little private when it comes to their relationship. However, they would sometimes share glimpses of their bonding moments on their social media pages.
There were times that Gerald would spend time with Julia’s family. In past interviews, the couple has openly talked about the next level of their relationship.
However, just recently, rumors surfaced that Gerald Anderson and Julia Barretto broke up. The breakup rumor was hyped up by Julia’s deletion of some of her photos with Gerald.
In an interview, the actor debunked the rumors that he and Julia are no longer together. He also answered the cheating allegations against him. Gerald said that he did not cheat.
Based on the article in Bandera, Gerald was interviewed by Hayb Anzures on her Pareng Hayb Studios vlog. At that time, the actor shared his realization.
“In a way naging unfair ako sa partner ko (and) righit now I’ve realized na okay, kailangan ng bumawi brother kasi ganu’n din parang si misis mo. Very supportive kasi si (Julia), lahat ng ginagawa ko hindi ko magagawa without her understanding, without her patience. Uunahan na kita, ako muna babawi tapos bumawi ka rin kay misis mo, mauna na ako,” Gerald said.
It was because Gerald and Hayb were talking about the latter being a family man. Hayb mentioned that since 2021, his wife has been pregnant every year and they haven’t had a vacation because he was focused on work and business. He also admitted that being a housewife is a difficult task.
To recall, even though Gerald Anderson clarified that he and Julia did not break up, talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz said that there was “awayan” that happened between the celebrity couple but it was said that Julia still loves Gerald.
