The minute that you come out on TV, you make yourself public and you’re accessible to everyone already. Unlike when you’re just someone from an ordinary life e hindi ka nila pakikialamanan,” the actress said.

One challenge also that Aiko cited was getting out of a certain role that an actor or an actress has been portraying for a long time. She shared that when she was doing the Kapuso series Primadonnas which had two books and ran for two and a half years, almost everyday, her character was doing antagonist actions.

Going back to reality after portraying that character, Aiko stressed that it was so difficult. “Every day, almost talagang masama ‘yung role mo, and when you come back to reality, you’re not like that, it’s so hard,” the actress shared.

Then, Aiko stressed, “Whoever says that it’s easy, they’re lying.” However, the actress disagreed with people’s comments that it is hard to find true friends in showbiz. For her, this is just difficult if one is not open to finding true friends in the industry.

On the other hand, Aiko Melendez pointed out that it is inevitable that conflicts may happen between friends, whether it is in showbiz or outside the industry.
