Paulo Avelino remains a Kapamilya
Actor Paulo Avelino is set to star in a new Kapamilya series after he signed a contract with Star Magic, ABS-CBN’s talent management firm.
Paulo started his career in the entertainment industry in GMA’s talent search StarStruck. This opened doors for him in showbiz. Eventually, he transferred to the Kapamilya network where he was given more opportunities as an actor.
The most recent projects he did under ABS-CBN were the teleseryes Linlang and What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim? In both projects, actress Kim Chiu was his leading lady.
Because of that, a new loveteam was born, the KimPau. The two teleseryes were followed by a movie, My Love Will Make You Disappear.
Paulo Avelino has an upcoming project as he remained a Kapamilya and is now part of the Star Magic family. This was announced in a social media post.
As of this writing, ABS-CBN has not shared details of the said upcoming project but this already made Paulo’s fans excited. “I’m excited for what’s to come! So happy for you Pau,” a fan commented.
Meanwhile, aside from being onscreen partners, KimPau fans are anticipating that there is something more. Some fans are speculating that they already have a romantic connection with each other.
Their supporters would point out certain gestures they have in videos that circulated online, just like what they saw in videos that circulated last May. It was when Kim and Paulo joined a fun run for charity.
There was a man who appeared stalking Kim during the fun run and pretended to be part of the actress’s security team. Some clips showed how Paulo Avelino protected Kim Chiu back then.
However, despite the sweetness that they have for each other, Kim and Paulo haven’t revealed the real score between them.
