DSWD to Send Imburnal Girl to Rehab After She Admitted to Using Illegal Drugs
IMBURNAL GIRL – The viral woman is set to undergo a rehabilitation program with the help of the DSWD after admitting to using illegal drugs.
The young woman identified as ‘Rose’ who went viral after being seen coming out of a drainage canal in Makati City is now on her way to a better life. She is set to undergo rehab after admitting illegal substances from time to time.
Rose appeared on the show Pinoy Pawnstars hosted by Jayson Luzadas known as “Boss Toyo”. During the segment, she openly shared that she engages in certain vices, though not regularly. This admission raised concern from both the viewers and authorities.
“Nagbibisyo naman po ako, pero hindi naman po araw-araw,” she said.
The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) noticed her confession. After reviewing her case, the agency decided to place Rose in a rehabilitation program to help her recover and make a fresh start.
The DSWD believes that with proper care, she can be guided towards a more stable and productive life.

Social workers from DSWD will closely support Rose and her partner, helping them through counseling and programs aimed at rebuilding their future. The goal is to prepare them for a successful return to the community, equipped with the tools they need to live healthier lives.
“Our social workers handling the case management will see to it that there will be positive change in the lives of Rose and her partner so that they become productive members of the community, ready for reintegration after the appropriate interventions,” DSWD’s Pag-Abot Program Director Marilyn Moral said.

Previously, Rose has received P80,000 in financial aid from the DSWD. She has also been enrolled in the Alternative Learning System (ALS), giving her the chance to continue her education and gain new opportunities.
