CJ Opiaza: Some Details About New Miss Grand International 2024 Winner

Meet Filipina beauty queen CJ Opiaza, the Miss Grand International 2024 winner.

CJ Opiaza from Zambales is Miss Grand Philippines 2024 and now the Miss Grand International 2024 winner after Rachel Gupta resigned.

Miss Grand International 2024 Rachel Gupta resigned, and according to the organization, the termination is effective immediately after she failed to “fulfill her assigned duties, engagement in external projects without prior approval from the organization, and her refusal to participate in the scheduled trip to Guatemala.”

The other winners of the international pageant were:

  • 1st runner-up: Miss Grand Philippines Christine Juliane “CJ” Opiaza
  • 2nd runner-up: Miss Grand Myanmar Thae Su Nyein
  • 3rd runner-up: Miss Grand France Safiétou Kabengele
  • 4th runner-up: Miss Grand Brazil Talita Hartmann

With the result, CJ Opiaza made history as the Philippines’ first Miss Grand International queen. As much as we all know, the crown has always been elusive to Pinay representatives. Nicole Cordoves and Samantha Bernado also finished as first runners-up in 2016 and 2020, respectively.
