Ivana Alawi once said this about the issue being attached to her name
Kapamilya actress Ivana Alawi stressed in an interview two months ago that she is not a home wrecker and this was recalled amid her issue with Bacolod City Lone District Representative Albee Benitez.
Rumors linking Ivana and Albee started circulating when a video surfaced online showing that they were together at Japan airport in 2024. In a statement the actress released a few days after this issue circulated, she denied having a romantic relationship with the businessman-politician.
In her statement, she even said that she was in a happy relationship with her boyfriend. Then, Albee apologized to Ivana for the relationship rumors. However, after the clarification that was made, another post circulated claiming that Ivana and Albee were spotted together once again.
Just recently, Ivana Alawi became a trending topic on social media after she was mentioned in the complaint affidavit of Albee Benitez’s estranged wife Nikki Benitez.
Allegedly, Albee admitted his illicit relationship with Ivana. However, the businessman-politician denied this and for him, it was “unsettling” to involve the actress in their issue.
Because of this, Ivana received bashing on social media. Her past statement in an interview even caught the attention of the online community. A netizen shared on Reddit a clip of the said interview in which she said that she is not a homewrecker.
Apparently, she was asked how she handled the negative comments on her, mentally and physically. “Walang mental kasi hindi naman ako na-hurt, so wala. Wala akong sinirang pamilya, so normal,” Ivana said.
She added that she was busy with her life and it’s up to people what they want to do.
