Rumors linking Ivana Alawi at Albee Benitez are not yet over
Kapamilya Ivana Alawi and Bacolod City Mayor Benitez were apparently spotted together again amid rumors linking them.
Previously, Ivana shared that her love life is blooming right now with her non-showbiz boyfriend. Rumor has it that her mystery man is a politician. Allegedly, they were together in Japan.
Then, it was also rumored that Mayor Albee was with a sultry star in Japan, and later on, netizens speculated that it was Ivana.
Ivana Alawi and Mayor Albee Benitez’s video surfaced online and this even ignited the rumors linking them. However, the actress denied the relationship rumors and in her statement, she stressed that her boyfriend is a businessman and not a politician.
Following the statement that the actress shared on social media, netizens noticed what Mayor Albee’s son Victorias City Mayor Javi Benitez posted, which they thought was his answer.
Amid the issue, Mayor Albee released a statement apologizing to Ivana for being dragged into the issue. He also said that it was just a chance encounter and people just put malice on the video.
A few days after that statement, a screenshot from a TikTok video showing that Ivana and Mayor Albee were apparently together at the airport surfaced online. Social media personality Auntie Selina shared these screenshots.
It looked like this was a different instance from the first video that circulated online. Because in the said video, Ivana and Mayor Albee were wearing white tops. The recently shared screenshot showed that the actress was wearing a black shirt while the man behind Ivana’s brother, who is apparently Mayor Albee was wearing a striped shirt.
